How to Disable Tap to Click on a Thinkpad
The Lenovo ThinkPad, like many other notebook computers, has a built-in trackpad that acts as a substitute for an external mouse. By swiping the trackpad, a user controls the actions of the cursor, including the ability to click icons. The user can click things in one of two ways when using a trackpad: by clicking the hard button on the outside of the trackpad or by tapping the trackpad itself. The latter option can cause lots of accidental clicks. Fortunately, this feature can be disabled.
