How to Turn Off Acceleration on a Mac Mouse
The acceleration setting makes your mouse move faster as you're moving the device at a certain speed. If you want to move the mouse precisely between two points on the screen, you need to turn off acceleration. Turning off acceleration in Mac OS X is a bit more tricky than in Windows, but if you use a Mac in your business, you can still turn off this setting. You can turn on acceleration later if you wish.
