How to Reset Shortcut Keys in Microsoft Excel
Shortcut keys can allow you to work more quickly and efficiently in the Microsoft Excel program, allowing you to type quick keyboard combinations to perform tasks. The Excel program allows you to customize your shortcut keys to make work in Excel easier for you. However, you eventually may find that you want to again use the default shortcuts. In this case, you can reset the shortcut keys in the Microsoft Excel "Tools" menu.

Launch the Microsoft Excel program on your computer.

Click on "Tools" in the program menu at the top of the window and select "Customize" from the drop-down menu.

Click on the "Commands" tab in the window that pops up.

Click the "Rearrange Commands" button. Look through the list of command menus you currently are using and select the one that you want to reset by clicking on it.

Click the "Reset" button.
