How to Enable HP Presario Wireless
The Compaq Presario can't connect to a wireless network unless it has a functioning wireless network adapter. If this wireless card is disabled, the antenna integrated into the component won't detect Wi-Fi signals broadcast from the router, preventing the PC from seeing or connecting to the company network. To re-enable wireless communication on the PC, activate the wireless antenna.
-
1.
Slide the wireless switch to enable the wireless antenna. The switch is located on the front of the Presario and to the right of the indicator lights.
-
2.
Click "Start | Control Panel | Network and Internet | Network and Sharing Center | Change Adapter Settings."
-
3.
Right-click "Wireless Network Connection." Select "Enable," if available, to turn on the Wi-Fi adapter on the HP PC.
