How to Disable the Built-in Webcam on a Laptop
Built-in laptop webcams are portable and convenient but have some disadvantages compared to external cameras. The angle of a laptop camera and its distance from your face depends on the position of the laptop screen. Laptop webcams do not capture high-speed motion, and they respond poorly to unexpected lighting changes. If your business installs secondary cameras on laptops for video conferencing and quality recording, disable your laptop's built-in webcam through the Windows Device Manager.
