How to Add a Wireless Profile to an iPhone
When you connect to an available wireless network with your iPhone, the wireless profile is added to the phone's recognized connections on the device. If configured to automatically connect, each time your device is in range of the saved Wi-Fi network, the iPhone connects to the network without intervention. The iPhone also connects to hidden networks. The device saves hidden wireless profiles so it can automatically connect when in range.

Tips
- If your network does not appear in the list of available networks, the router’s SSID may be hidden. Obtain the necessary information from the system administrator or IT technician. Tap the “Other” option in the Choose a Network menu. Type the hidden SSID into the “Network Name” input box and then type the password into the Security field. The hidden network displays in the list of available networks list after the iPhone successfully connects to it.
